Job summary

AVEVA is seeking an experienced project manager/analyst to support CPI activities within Finance Operations. The role covers demand governance, prioritisation, deployment planning and cross-team collaboration across people, data, process and technology.

Based in Cambridge or London with hybrid working, the position focuses on CPI opportunities, ensuring audit trails and sign-off processes, and delivering projects on time.

Qualifications

• Project management methods, tools and implementation.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
• MS Project Online and MS Planner proficiency.
• Knowledge of end-to-end Finance Processes and KPIs.
• Experience with SharePoint, Power Automate and Power BI.
• Knowledge of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

Responsibilities

• Project Management: ensure CPI activities have clear requirements, scope, budget and detailed delivery plan.
• Project Governance: monitor progress, mitigate risks, ensure decision paths and escalation.
• Stakeholder Management: engage with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Process Improvement: evaluate requests for change, maintain PI logs and audit trails.
• Project Delivery: coordinate with solution delivery teams to meet deadlines.
• Change Management: support adoption and smooth CPI transitions.
• KIPs: collect data monthly, update SharePoint, analyze and publish summaries.
