Job summary

Realm Recruit is seeking a Private Client Associate to join a highly regarded, employee-owned boutique law firm in Oxford and surrounding areas. You’ll handle sophisticated Private Wealth matters for high-net-worth clients, working with Partners and tax/trust specialists.

A solid grounding in trusts and tax is required, with genuine opportunities to progress and tailor development. The role offers hybrid working with 2 days from home, a supportive, non-hierarchical environment, and clear

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with Private Client experience
• Experience with trusts and basic private client tax
• Understanding inheritance tax and estate planning principles
• Experience dealing with high-net-worth clients
• Strong client care and communication skills
• Willingness to develop technical knowledge and STEP/CTA
• 3+ years’ PQE (preferred)
• Experience in a reputable Private Client practice

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of Private Wealth matters
• Advising high-net-worth clients on wills, trusts and estate planning
• Supporting inheritance tax and lifetime gifting arrangements
• Developing knowledge of more complex tax planning
• Working alongside specialist tax and trust colleagues
• Building lasting relationships with clients
• Delivering exceptional client service
• Contributing to departmental targets
• Developing your own technical specialisms
• Supporting the firm's collaborative culture
