Job summary

Babcock in the United Kingdom seeks a Principal Civil Structural Engineer to drive civil/structural design across the full lifecycle. You will manage technical aspects from identification to handover, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring safety, quality and governance on complex infrastructure projects.

Applicants should be Chartered or able to achieve Chartered status, with experience in heavy civil and building structures and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in highly regulated

Qualifications

• Lead civil/structural design projects across the full design lifecycle.
• Proven track record in regulated or comparable engineering environments.
• Knowledge of seismic design and structural safety requirements is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of civil and structural design packages to scope, quality, schedule and cost.
• Manage technical aspects from initial identification through final handover.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement and incorporate requirements into solutions.
• Drive technical planning, design reviews and engineering assurance activities.
