Job summary

Advance TRS is partnering with a growing engineering consultancy to recruit an experienced Structural Principal Engineer to lead the Structural discipline on major infrastructure projects in the UK.

The role offers a Chartered structural engineer the chance to drive technical excellence, mentor engineers, and shape engineering standards, with hybrid Manchester working and flexible permanent or contract options.

Qualifications

• Chartered structural engineer with senior/principal experience.
• Experience delivering UK water sector projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural design, standards, and construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design across infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical leadership, governance and design assurance.
• Review calculations, reports and specifications.
• Mentor engineers, graduates and technicians.
• Drive standards, quality and continuous improvement.
• Support bids, resource planning and technical proposals.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and CDM.
