Job summary

LJ Recruitment is partnering with an established Leeds-based organisation to recruit a Placements & Referrals Coordinator for Education & Residential services. You will coordinate referrals between Local Authorities, commissioners and internal teams, review referrals and manage placement offers to ensure timely, accurate communications.

The role requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication and the ability to handle multiple referrals and deadlines, in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Experience in placements, referrals, commissioning or business development coordination within social care, education or related sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess incoming referrals from Local Authorities, recording all relevant information accurately.
• Identify suitable placement opportunities with Managers and Head Teachers.
• Prepare and issue placement offers within agreed timescales.
• Maintain accurate referral records, placement information and availability logs.
