Medacs Healthcare is recruiting for a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor in Sunderland. This hybrid role blends home working with assessment centre time, focusing on clinical reasoning and detailed report writing rather than hands-on care.

You must be an NMC-registered nurse or HCPC-registered professional (physio, paramedic or OT) with at least one year of UK clinical experience. You’ll assess, analyse evidence and write comprehensive reports to defined standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist.
• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident use of digital systems with 35 WPM typing speed.

Responsabilités

• Conduct face-to-face and telephone PIP assessments.
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information.
• Produce accurate, evidence-based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues.
