Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor to join a growing UK team. If you are a Nurse, Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with HCPC/NMC registration, you will assess how conditions affect daily living and write detailed reports.

The role is hybrid, with home work and assessment centre time, offering predictable hours, structured pay progression and ongoing clinical support.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist with active NMC or HCPC registration.
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident use of digital systems and typing (35 WPM).
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).
• Experience in functional assessment or advisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face‑to‑face and telephone PIP assessments in a professional and empathetic manner
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information
• Produce accurate, detailed and evidence‑based written reports
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks
• Engage positively with feedback and development opportunities
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues
