Job summary

Capita HAAS in Northern Ireland is hiring a Physiotherapist Assessor to meet with benefits claimants in person, on the phone or via video link, and to write reports with structured, flexible working.

The role requires HCPC registration, at least 1 year post-registration experience, and strong report-writing and IT skills. It offers hybrid working with a mix of clinic and home-based days and a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered physiotherapist with a valid PIN and no current restrictions.
• Minimum of one year post-registration experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to produce clear, accurate and detailed reports.
• Comfortable working quickly to meet structured targets.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new systems while working remotely.
• Excellent observational and communication skills, giving you the ability to listen, empathise and dig deeper.
• A driving licence or access to transport for assessment centre working.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial reviews via in-person, video, or phone assessments for benefit claims (WCA, PIP).
• Analyse and interpret clinical information and supporting evidence.
• Write detailed evidence-based reports to support DWP decisions.
• Use IT systems to support clinical decision-making and report writing.
• Develop clinical knowledge and stay informed about less familiar health conditions.
