Job summary

MPJ Recruitment are working with an established legal practice to strengthen their specialist Serious Injury team with a Litigation Executive role in Liverpool. You will support senior fee earners on high-value personal injury matters and gain exposure to complex multi-track cases.

You'll manage case progression from inception to conclusion, review medical records, prepare summaries and documentation, and liaise with barristers and experts.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience within civil litigation, ideally personal injury.
• Working knowledge of CPR and relevant Pre-Action Protocols.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Experience reviewing medical records and evidential documentation.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• A proactive and professional approach to client service.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the management of complex personal injury litigation.
• Reviewing and analysing medical records and evidential documents.
• Preparing case summaries and detailed file notes.
• Managing disclosure and document collation.
• Preparing expert and Counsel instruction packs.
• Liaising with barristers, medical experts and other stakeholders.
• Arranging conferences and meetings.
• Monitoring court deadlines and procedural requirements.
• Conducting legal research.
• Assisting with client reporting and service delivery requirements.
• Supporting the investigation and progression of high-value injury claims.
