Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice in central Poole to recruit a Payroll Administrator to join their busy payroll team.

This role offers hybrid working (3 days in the office and 2 days from home) after an initial training period, with opportunities for professional development and handling multiple client payrolls for accurate, compliant processing.

Formación

• Experience in payroll administration or processing, preferably in an accountancy practice or bureau.
• Experience handling payrolls of varying sizes and frequencies.
• Solid understanding of UK payroll legislation, PAYE, NI and statutory payments.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and client-focused approach.

Responsabilidades

• Process weekly, monthly and quarterly payrolls for a diverse client portfolio.
• Manage client payrolls from start to finish with accuracy and compliance.
• Respond to payroll queries with excellent customer service.
• Process starters, leavers, salary changes, overtime, bonuses and expenses.
• Submit RTI returns to HMRC and meet deadlines.
• Handle pension auto-enrolment assessments and reconciliations.
• Calculate PAYE, National Insurance and student loan deductions.
• Set up new PAYE schemes and maintain payroll records.
• Support year-end processes including P60s and reporting.
