Job summary

Adele Carr Recruitment Limited is seeking a Payroll Officer to join its Ormskirk finance team. You will support monthly payroll for around 500 employees alongside the Payroll Supervisor, ensuring accuracy and on-time processing.

This role requires payroll experience, strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information. Hybrid working is offered with one day per week from home after probation, and a range of pension and parking benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing and monthly payroll cycles.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organisational skills to meet monthly deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process new starters, leavers and amendments to payroll records.
• Calculate timesheet payments and overtime.
• Process statutory payments and deductions.
• Handle shadow payroll payments for overseas employees.
• Process company car and fuel deductions and salary sacrifice schemes.
• Support pension auto-enrolment and group pension salary sacrifice.
