Job summary

Portfolio Payroll Limited is seeking a Payroll Manager to take ownership of payroll processing for Bureaus and head office teams, with hands-on exposure to onboarding, employee records, and benefits coverage. This role offers a path to broaden your Bureau industry career within a fast-paced retail environment.

You will handle end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of clients, ensure HMRC compliance and pensions, and maintain accuracy in Sage Payroll, working in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Experience in a sole payroll position.
• Experience within the clients and bureau background.
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation and best practice.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience working end to end dealing with all queries.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule for all employees.
• Manage payroll changes including new starters, leavers, and contract amendments.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC legislation, pensions, and statutory payments.
• Reconcile payroll reports and liaise with Finance for payment approvals.
• Maintain employee records in the Sage Payroll and ensure data accuracy.
• End to end processing for a portfolio of clients.
