Qualifications
Solid experience and understanding of payroll processes, procedures and current legislation.
Strong Excel skills, with the ability to analyze and present data effectively.
Good technical knowledge of pensions, including regulations and Auto-Enrolment requirements.
Confidence in communicating clearly with both internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Managing the end-to-end processing of weekly and monthly payroll cycles.
Coordinating pension reporting, including monthly and annual reconciliations.
Handling statutory returns and benefits reporting.
Reviewing and approving expense claims.
Keeping up to date with changes in payroll legislation.
Ensuring all employee data is managed securely.
Acting as a point of contact for external providers.
Investigating and resolving payroll issues.
Organising and prioritising daily tasks.
Identifying and suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency.
Building strong working relationships across teams.
Supporting senior colleagues during meetings.
