Job summary

Cathedral Appointments is seeking a Trainee, Junior or experienced paraplanner in Exeter to join a collaborative technical team. You will produce high-quality suitability reports and technical documentation to support financial advisers and client journeys in a hybrid working model.

The role offers progression, ongoing development and support with professional qualifications, with a salary up to £45,000 depending on experience and level.

Qualifications

• Trainee-level candidates welcome; strong desire to develop in financial planning.
• Junior and Paraplanner level candidates should have paraplanning experience in financial services.
• Progress toward or completion of CII RO1 to RO6 depending on level.
• Excellent attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Hybrid working with flexibility and clear development pathways.

Responsibilities

• Prepare suitability reports, annual reviews and technical documentation per FCA requirements.
• Support advisers and client services through the client lifecycle.
• Liaise with clients, providers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely information flow.
• Maintain up-to-date and compliant records in the firm’s CRM and systems.
