Job Description

Our clients, a Wealth Management company specializing in Financial Planning for HNW clients, require an experienced Paraplanner for their offices in Surrey. They will soon be merging with their sister company in Leatherhead, forming a team of approximately 20 personnel. The team is small and friendly, ideal for someone seeking a long-term role.

Candidates should ideally be fully qualified with approximately 4+ years of experience. Consideration may be given to a Technical Administrator with fewer qualifications.

The role is full-time and office-based, with potential for hybrid working. The position involves supporting two Financial Planners.

For the right candidate, there is potential for authorization to answer client queries or participate in meetings.

Day-to-day tasks include writing recommendations, answering technical queries from team members and clients (including possible attendance at client meetings), maintaining templates and communications, and handling ad hoc projects.

The main back-office system used is Intelligent Office (IO).

Report writing is primarily from templates, involving significant freeform writing rather than selecting predefined options.

While qualifications are important, salary will be commensurate with experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and report writing experience.
