Job description

I have a superb opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner in the Tunbridge Wells area to join a growing financial planning firm that offers hybrid working and a fantastic working environment with excellent career opportunities.

They are looking for an individual who ideally holds their Level 4 diploma and has experience as a Paraplanner, as you will be supporting experienced financial planners and assisting them with a range of cases.

Your role will include but will not be limited to:

• Assisting Financial Planners in formulating advice for clients, providing technical support and guidance where appropriate
• Reviewing client objectives to ensure they are clear, concise, and achievable based on the client's financial circumstances
• Researching and analyzing investment funds and financial products, considering client objectives
• Conducting fund research
• Preparing Financial Plans that outline the client's current position, desired goals, and the steps to achieve them
• Preparing fund switch and encashment letters according to advice provided
• Obtaining applications, key features documents, factsheets, illustrations, and product comparison quotes from appropriate sources
• Liaising with Product Providers and Third Parties regarding technical queries

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a Level 4 diploma
• Have a good understanding of the Financial Planning process
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Provide excellent customer service to advisers and clients
• Demonstrate excellent planning and organizational skills
• Work effectively to deadlines
• Show accuracy and attention to detail to meet role demands
