Job summary

South East Water is seeking a Solutions Analyst/Developer to design, build, deploy, and continuously improve Oracle-based apps and databases. You’ll bridge on-premise infrastructure with Google Cloud, delivering efficient PL/SQL, Oracle APEX interfaces, and REST APIs in a hybrid environment.

You will work with Oracle 19c/23c, APEX 24+, and ORDS, ensuring secure authentication, optimized queries, and scalable data models across data centers and cloud resources.

Qualifications

• Oracle 19c/23c knowledge and optimization.
• Expert-level PL/SQL development.
• Experience with Oracle APEX 24+ and UI customization.
• Experience with ORDS REST APIs.
• HTML5/CSS/JS basics and JSON formatting.
• Familiarity with GCP core services (GCE, Cloud SQL, IAM).
• CI/CD experience with GitLab CI or Cloud Build.
• Experience with SQL Server and Google BigQuery is a plus.
• Degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Proven Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
• Experience deploying Oracle APEX applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications.
• Implement UI/UX using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and APEX plugins.
• Configure APEX auth schemes integrated with IdP.
• Build interactive grids, charts, and customized reports.
• Write clean, optimized PL/SQL code and data models.
• Develop REST APIs using ORDS to expose endpoints.
• Collaborate with Cloud Engineers for on-prem and GCP integration.
• Participate in migration, DR planning, and cross-data-center sync.
