Job summary

South East Water seeks a Solutions Analyst/Developer to design, build, deploy, and improve Oracle-based applications and databases. You will bridge our on-premise data centre with Google Cloud Platform, writing efficient database code and using Oracle APEX to create clean web interfaces.

You will develop and modernise web apps, work across hybrid infrastructure, and ensure data flows smoothly between environments. A strong background in Oracle PL/SQL and APEX is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle 19c/23c and database objects.
• Proficient in PL/SQL with advanced techniques.
• Strong Oracle APEX experience (v24+).
• Experience configuring ORDS REST APIs.
• Solid HTML/CSS/JavaScript and JSON knowledge.
• Familiarity with GCP core services (GCE, Cloud SQL, BigQuery).
• CI/CD experience with Git/NX or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications.
• Build secure REST endpoints using ORDS.
• Develop and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, and types.
• Collaborate with Cloud Engineers on hybrid on-premise/GCP infra.
• Create robust, scalable web interfaces and reports.
