Job summary

South East Water is seeking a Solutions Analyst/Developer to design, build, and modernise Oracle-based applications within a hybrid on-premise and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data-centre. You will craft secure, responsive Oracle APEX interfaces and robust PL/SQL, while enabling cross-data-centre syncing and REST APIs via ORDS.

You will collaborate with Cloud Engineers and DBAs, optimising queries, and ensuring data integrity across massive datasets, with equity and security at the core.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Database 19c/23c and PL/SQL development.
• Proven Oracle APEX development experience, including UI/UX and plugins.
• Experience building REST APIs with ORDS and data integration in hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications.
• Build and manage interactive grids, charts, and reports.
• Write clean, optimized PL/SQL code and improve performance.
• Collaborate with Cloud Engineers and DBAs for hybrid on-prem/GCP infrastructure.
• Develop and expose RESTful services using ORDS.
