Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking an Operational Data Analyst to join Tech Operations in a hybrid London role. You will own critical reporting, including FTE allocation and engineering velocity, and work with data engineers to productionise pipelines for leadership-ready insights.

You will connect operational metrics to business outcomes, define what to measure, and present recommendations to senior leaders with clarity and rigor.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL proficiency beyond querying with dimensional and fact tables.
• Analytics engineering and orchestration with templated SQL (Jinja).
• Tableau dashboards built for senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with engineering data systems and Jira/GitHub data models.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
• Commercial curiosity linking metrics to business outcomes.
• Experience designing reporting methodology and handling multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the FTE Allocation Report showing Tech headcount by OKRs and operations.
• Build engineering velocity reporting with flow metrics and baselines.
• Collaborate with data engineers to productionise data pipelines and QA.
• Link engineering effort to product metrics and commercial results.
• Extend reporting scope to adoption, usage, and deprecation metrics.
• Turn complex data into clear insights for senior leadership.
• Design reporting methodology and manage multiple workstreams.
• Document systems and processes to improve future clarity.
