Job summary

The Motor Ombudsman in Liverpool or Westminster offers a 12-month fixed-term Ombudsman role with hybrid working (4 days at home, 1 day in the office). A law degree and ADR experience are essential as you investigate complaints and make final, binding decisions.

You will manage a varied caseload, meet targets, and contribute to service improvements while using MS Office and potentially Salesforce or Zendesk. Mon-Fri, 9-5, with a comprehensive benefits package.

• Strong analytical skills and sound judgment.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to explain decisions sensitively.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complaints between consumers and automotive businesses; assess evidence and reach fair decisions.
• Manage own caseload, including complex disputes and escalated complaints.
• Explain decisions clearly; respond to enquiries; support vulnerable consumers with empathy.
