Job summary

4Recruitment Services Ltd. is seeking an experienced Office Relocation Manager for a North West London-based Council.

The role combines planning, coordination and delivery of corporate relocations, service moves, and workplace reconfigurations with a strong emphasis on space utilisation and CAD-based layout design. You will ensure safe, efficient delivery with minimal disruption, collaborating across Directorates and support functions while coordinating external removals and site repaints where

Qualifications

• Significant experience in workplace planning and space utilisation within complex organisations.
• Proven track record delivering office relocations and related moves.
• Ability to manage multiple move workstreams with milestones and risks.
• Experience in commissioning and managing external removals and logistics contractors.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communications during office moves.
• Expertise in space planning principles and creating floor plans/move drawings.
• Strong problem-solving to balance competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of corporate relocations and office moves across the Council’s estate.
• Provide workplace planning expertise including occupancy planning and CAD layouts.
• Ensure changes are delivered safely, efficiently, with minimal disruption and in collaboration with Directorate teams.
• Procure and manage removals and storage contractors as Intelligent Client for move services.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for furniture and equipment during transitions.
• Maintain compliance with Health & Safety, GDPR, Equality and safeguarding requirements.
• Contribute to service improvement and transformation initiatives.
