Job summary

Health Partners is seeking an Occupational Health Physician to deliver expert medical advice across private and public sector clients. You will handle pre-employment assessments, sickness absence management, and ill-health retirement guidance, while contributing to workplace health surveillance and witnesses in tribunals as needed.

You will ensure compliant services, maintain medical records, and liaise with insurers and pension trustees.

Qualifications

• DipOccMed qualification is required.
• Current GMC registration and licence to practise in the UK.
• Experience in a similar role in private sector (min 2 years).
• Knowledge of employment law and health surveillance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert medical advice and support for pre-employment assessments and sickness absence management.
• Advise on disability and ill-health retirement for client insurers and pension trustees.
• Attend client premises for clinic services and case management as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records using internal systems.
