Job summary

Skylight Psychiatry is seeking a dedicated nurse to join our supportive team. The role includes autism/ADHD assessments in Middlesborough, with some documentation and support tasks done from home. The position offers hybrid work combining in-person clinic duties and remote administrative work.

Requirements include NMC registration, ADOS certification, and at least 2 years’ experience diagnosing neurodevelopmental conditions. Flexible hours and staff development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be NMC registered.
• ADOS certification.
• 2 years experience in diagnosis of neurodevelopmental conditions.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Problem solving skills and ability to work on own initiative.
• Attention to detail.
• Flexible and ability to adapt to the needs of the service.
• Skilled communicator.
• Good understanding of data confidentiality.
• Good understanding of risk assessment, management and dealing with safeguarding concerns.

Responsibilities

• Undertake in person and virtual Autism and/or ADHD assessments
• Preparation of reports within the required timeframes
• Attend and contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings
• Attend monthly management supervision with a member of the senior management team
• Support service improvement activities under the direction of the Clinical Team Leader and/or Clinical Director
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in patient record systems, clinical reports and other associated documentation
• Present and share relevant information with colleagues
• Support and contribute to the training and support of other staff
• Undertake clinical duty under the direction of the Clinical Team Lead
• Any other duties as deemed to be within the scope of the role Individual
