Job summary

Skylight Psychiatry Ltd is seeking a Neurodevelopmental Nurse to support autism and ADHD assessments. The role combines in-person clinics in Middlesbrough with remote documentation, offering flexible hybrid working and a patient-centered approach.

You must be NMC registered with ADOS certification and at least two years’ experience in neurodevelopmental care. Proficient IT skills and strong safeguarding, risk assessment and confidentiality knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be NMC registered.
• ADOS certification.
• 2 years’ experience in diagnosis of neurodevelopmental conditions.
• Proficient computer skills and experience with patient record systems.
• Strong organisational skills and safeguarding knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake in person and virtual Autism and/or ADHD assessments
• Preparation of reports within the required timeframes
• Attend and contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings
• Attend monthly management supervision with a member of the senior management team
• Support service improvement activities under the direction of the Clinical Team Leader and/or Clinical Director
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in patient record systems, clinical reports and other documentation
• Present and share relevant information with colleagues
• Support and contribute to the training and support of other staff
• Undertake clinical duty under the direction of the Clinical Team Lead
• Any other duties as deemed within the scope of the role Individual
