Job summary

Talentedge Technology in Belfast is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build and deliver high-quality .NET/C# applications in a hybrid environment. You will contribute to APIs, services and distributed systems while shaping technical direction alongside Product and QA teams.

You'll work on cloud-native systems with a focus on reliability, observability, and scalable solutions, mentoring peers and collaborating across engineering disciplines to deliver customer-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with C# and .NET (Core / 6+).
• Experience building cloud-native systems (Azure preferred).
• Solid understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and modern delivery practices (CI/CD, automated testing, observability).
• RESTful API principles and design decisions.
• Security basics (authentication, authorization, data handling).

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver well-tested, maintainable software using modern engineering practices.
• Contribute to APIs, services, and distributed systems.
• Participate in architectural discussions and help shape technical standards.
• Work closely with Product and QA to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Improve system reliability, scalability, and observability.
• Support and mentor other engineers through reviews and collaboration.
