Job summary

Kallidus Ltd is seeking a skilled .NET Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services powering large-scale SaaS apps. You will work in a collaborative Agile team across Bristol HQ or Lisbon AI Hub, contributing to API-led, cloud-native software used globally.

Ideal candidates have strong RESTful API design skills, ASP.NET Core expertise, and experience with Azure, SQL Server, and modern CI/CD practices. Hybrid work includes 2 days in office.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience as a .NET Developer, Software Developer, or Application Developer.
• Strong experience building and maintaining RESTful Web APIs using .NET and C#.
• Excellent knowledge of ASP.NET Core Web API.
• Experience with SQL Server and relational database design.
• Experience with Azure and cloud-native development.
• Exposure to Docker and containerisation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with API gateways and service integrations.
• Experience in Agile development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET applications and services.
• Build and enhance high-performance RESTful Web APIs that support our SaaS platform.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices.
• Develop and maintain integrations with internal and third-party systems through APIs.
• Support the deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of applications.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Refactor and optimise existing systems to improve performance and maintainability.
• Contribute to code reviews and promote engineering excellence within the team.
• Create and maintain technical documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
