Involve Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join a collaborative team delivering high-end residential, commercial, and industrial projects in the Liverpool area.

You will interpret drawings and tender documents, prepare detailed estimates, liaise with clients and suppliers, assess risks, and drive cost saving initiatives during pre-construction. The role offers hybrid working and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in estimation software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate Mechanical estimates for a range of new build projects
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to gather relevant information
• Assess project risks and opportunities to ensure competitive and viable bids
• Manage multiple tenders simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
• Contribute to value engineering and cost saving initiatives
• Support the commercial and project teams through the pre-construction phase
