Zusammenfassung

Systems Engineering & Assessment Ltd (SEA) seeks a Mechanical Engineering Team Lead to drive mechanical activities across a team of specialists. You will ensure technical quality for mechanical hardware in commercial and military applications and guide tasking, risk management and progress reporting to hit milestones.

The role is based at our Barnstaple site with a flexible on-site requirement (minimum 2 days/week). Salary up to £62k, depending on experience.

Qualifikationen

• Experience leading mechanical engineering teams.
• Experience in mechanical design, analysis, and GD&T.
• Ability to communicate with project stakeholders and manage risk.

Aufgaben

• Ensure clear communication and collaboration within the Mechanical Engineering project team and stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and technical direction to ensure delivery on time, cost and quality.
• Conduct detailed design, analysis, tolerance studies (including GD&T) and produce technical documentation and manufacturing data packs.
• Support problem investigations and deliver effective solutions.
• Line management for your team with regular development discussions and 1:1s.
