Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Mechanical / Electrical Design Engineer (Fire Protection) in Birmingham. You will join a small design team and use BIM modelling to develop fire protection specifications for data centres and critical facilities.

You'll work closely with Project Directors, conduct design reviews, and liaise with clients. The role offers hybrid working, a monthly Reading office visit, and opportunities for progression, training and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Electrical Design background or similar.
• Mechanical Design background or similar.
• Willing to Commute to Reading once a month.

Responsibilities

• Robust drawing checking and approval procedures.
• Using Revit and BIM Modelling to create specifications
• Work closely with Project Directors and clients throughout
• Lead design reviews and meetings
• Completely remote with an office visit to Reading once a month
