Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Materials & Production Planner to join a busy UK manufacturing operation. You will manage the short-term production plan, coordinate customer orders and help balance demand with production capacity within the ERP system.

The role offers hybrid working (up to 2 days from home), Monday to Friday, and a competitive salary with a performance bonus. You will collaborate with Customer Service, Supply Chain and Production teams to ensure on-time delivery and accurate

Qualifications

GCSE Grade C in Maths and English.
Experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or order management.
Experience using ERP systems with accurate data entry.
Strong planning and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Manage the short-term production plan and customer order schedule within agreed planning parameters.
Balance customer demand with available production capacity.
Review demand with Customer Service and Supply Chain to confirm achievable delivery dates.
Communicate production risks, delays, and schedule changes to key stakeholders.
Adjust production priorities and daily/weekly schedule changes, including urgent orders.
Enter and maintain customer orders accurately within the ERP system.
Create and release production orders with all checks completed prior to release.
Monitor shortfalls and coordinate rescheduling and lead time changes.
