Job summary

The Collective Network Limited is recruiting a Production Planner for our Gloucester site to take ownership of the master production schedule and align manufacturing activities across the plant. You will work with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and optimize use of available capacity.

The role requires hands-on production planning experience and strong MRP/ERP skills; SYSPRO is a bonus. A full UK driving licence is essential, and aerospace/defence exposure is beneficial in this

Production Planner

Up to £50,000

Most planners inherit a system that works. You won't.

Our client is a fast-growing advanced composites manufacturer supplying aerospace, automotive, defence and space. It's scaling quickly, and the MRP system hasn't caught up. Routings are thin, work centre data has gaps, and capacity problems appear once you're already in them.

That's where you come in. Fix the data, get SYSPRO working properly, then use it to run the schedule across Gloucester and their Swindon site.

You'll:

• Own the master production schedule and give the manufacturing team clear work lists
• Check capacity and stock before delivery dates get promised
• Keep stores, subcontract and dispatch moving
• Flag slips early, with a recovery plan

You plan, a dedicated Buyer procures. Neither of you is doing two jobs.

You'll need:

• Hands-on production planning experience
• Real MRP/ERP skills (SYSPRO is a bonus)
• The nerve to hold a plan under pressure
• A full UK driving licence
• Aerospace, automotive or defence experience helps.
