Job summary

NES Advantage Solutions is seeking a proactive Materials Planner for a 12-month maternity cover on a hybrid site (office-based with 1-2 days remote). The role supports manufacturing by ensuring critical materials are planned and available, coordinating with Engineering, Procurement and Manufacturing to drive actions to completion.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in Materials Planning, Production or Supply Chain Planning within manufacturing.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with cross-functional collaboration.
• Hands-on SAP and/or Oracle ERP systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor material requirements and ensure on-time release of demands.
• Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders in collaboration with Engineering and Procurement.
• Serve as a central point of contact between Engineering, Sourcing, Procurement and Manufacturing.
• Track material availability and proactively escalate supply issues.
• Communicate effectively across stakeholders to align on material continuity.
• Support manufacturing by maintaining continuity of material supply.
• Manage priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
