Job summary

WJF Technical Support LTD. is seeking a Materials Planner for a 12-month contract based in Newcastle. The role sits in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and requires coordination across engineering, sourcing and production to ensure timely material flow.

Working mainly in the office with limited hybrid flexibility (1–2 days per week remote). The ideal candidate has background in materials planning and experience with Oracle and SAP, and can manage priorities in a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Background in Materials Planning.
• Experience with Oracle and/or SAP.
• Experience interfacing with Production/Manufacturing Operations.
• Comfortable in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced industry.

Responsibilities

• Proactively following up on material and purchasing requirements to ensure demands are released on time.
• Working closely with Engineering and Buyers to ensure PORs are converted into POs.
• Acting as the link between Engineering, Sourcing, and Manufacturing, ensuring smooth communication and alignment across functions.
• Operating in a fast-paced environment where strong stakeholder management and continuous follow-up are essential.
