Job summary

CTM is seeking a Management Accountant to provide accurate and timely information to the Finance Reporting Manager. The role includes preparing monthly financial reports, variance analysis and ad hoc reporting, while liaising with the wider finance team to ensure accurate reporting.

The role requires a proactive, deadline-driven finance professional with advanced Excel skills and at least four years’ experience in a finance team; travel industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Be proactive and able to work under strict deadlines.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
• At least four years’ experience in a finance team.
• Experience within travel is a distinct advantage.
• Ability to identify errors and correct them.
• Working in a fast-paced team and able to work on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end tasks (preparing journals with backups, supporting other team members).
• Support the offshore team during month-end/in BAU processes.
• Preparation of management accounts including balance sheet reconciliations and P&L/Balance Sheet variance analysis.
• Month-end checks around receivables/payables.
• Provide support to the manager in preparing variance analysis on monthly results.
• Support wider finance team with strict deadlines around month end.
• Review and check accuracy of accounts receivable and payable.
• Assisting interim and year-end statutory audit.
• Other ad-hoc duties as and when required.
