Job summary

Tony Alan Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Management Accountant to join an established business just outside Haywards Heath. The role is full-time (35 hours) with hybrid working after handover and parking provided. Salary £50,000–£55,000 plus benefits.

You will deliver management accounts, assist external reporting and support group finance with robust controls. Key duties include monthly group management accounts, stock valuation, prepayments and accruals, year-end audit coordination, and

Qualifications

• Experience in managing year-end audit processes.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate Group management accounts including stock valuation, prepayments and accruals.
• Run monthly reconciliations alongside management accounts up to Group consolidation.
• Submit weekly and monthly financial reports with commentary and budget comparison.
• Develop and implement controls for automated reporting.
• Manage year-end audit process and liaise with auditors.
• Prepare all relevant financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the finance team.
• Support the finance team and share knowledge as required.
