Job summary

Transaction Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Management Reporting Accountant for a well-established manufacturing business in Worcester.

The role sits in the group finance team, reports to the Group Accounting Manager, and offers hybrid working with flexibility. You will prepare journals and intercompany reconciliations, support consolidation, year-end accounts, tax and treasury, and contribute to statutory accounts and external audits.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel background (essential).
• Experience preparing statutory accounts and supporting external audits is beneficial.
• Exposure to consolidation, intercompany or multi-entity group reporting is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Preparing journals, reconciliations and backing schedules for the monthly group reporting cycle.
• Pulling together information that feeds the monthly consolidation across the group's entities.
• Reconciling intercompany balances and investigating differences between group companies.
• Helping to produce monthly reporting packs and the analysis behind them.
• Assisting with monthly management accounts across the group's companies.
• Owning balance sheet reconciliations and following up on open items.
