Job summary

Pharmacy2U Ltd. is seeking a Management Accountant to deliver accurate management accounts for a division, with a strong emphasis on variance analysis and forecasting.

You will work alongside the Finance Manager and Head of Finance, contributing to robust balance sheet reconciliations and high-quality reporting in a growing, customer‑centric online pharmacy environment. The role is based in Leeds with a hybrid schedule and Monday–Friday hours, offering a competitive salary and extensive

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or qualified in ACCA, CIMA or ACA with advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in a finance role within a regulated environment.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely management accounts for a defined division of the business, meeting all reporting deadlines.
• Prepare and review accruals, prepayments and profit and loss analysis to support month-end close.
• Perform variance analysis against budget and forecast, providing clear explanations and insight.
• Develop and maintain cost reporting, understanding cost drivers and supporting future forecasting.
• Complete balance sheet and control account reconciliations for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns in line with statutory requirements.
• Build strong relationships across Finance teams to ensure timely information flow.
• Support the Finance Manager and Head of Finance with reporting, ad-hoc analysis and projects.
• Assist with year-end processes and the annual audit.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by strengthening financial controls and processes.
