Job summary

Trial Balance Consulting is partnering with a growing manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Management Accountant in Penryn. The role is full-time and permanent with hybrid working between home and the headquarters.

You will produce monthly and quarterly management accounts with commentary, support the finance director, and help with budgeting, audits, and strategic projects. Manufacturing experience and strong Excel skills are essential; professional qualifications are welcome or by

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience is essential.
• Candidates may be professionally qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or qualified by experience/AAT.
• Excellent IT aptitude, especially MS Excel, is required.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts with accompanying commentary for senior management.
• Provide senior finance with financial intelligence for ongoing projects, cost savings, and budget reporting.
• Comment on monthly reporting packs to financial and non-financial leaders.
• Assist with quarterly reviews and annual budgets.
• Identify areas to improve financial performance of divisions.
• Maintain fixed asset register and reporting.
• Assist in budgeting and business planning.
• Assist in preparing for annual audit.
