Job summary

People Providers is seeking a Hybrid Recruitment Consultant for Logistics & Driving to own end-to-end staffing delivery. You will forecast, source, interview, and deploy warehouse and driving staff, coordinating with clients and operations to meet demand.

You will build a compliant, work-ready candidate pipeline, manage onboarding, and ensure SLAs are met. The role combines strategic workforce planning with hands-on recruitment in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of logistics, driving and warehousing environments.
• Proven ability to balance recruitment activity with operational planning.
• Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail, particularly in compliance and scheduling.
• Proficient in CRM systems, workforce planning tools, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in recruitment (logistics/driving preferred) or transport planning.
• Knowledge of driver legislation, WTD, and RT(WT)R regulations.
• Experience managing high-volume temporary workforces.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, forecast, and allocate drivers and warehouse operatives to meet client requirements.
• Develop workforce plans aligned with forecasts and operational needs.
• Ensure optimum workforce utilisation balancing fulfilment, cost and service delivery.
• Source, attract, and recruit warehouse and driving candidates to meet ongoing demand.
• Build a strong pipeline of compliant, work-ready candidates.
• Coordinate onboarding, inductions, and deployment of candidates.
• Maintain compliance with Right to Work, licences, WTD and RT(WT)R.
• Monitor KPIs and support audits with continuous improvement.
