Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc in Bristol is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager to lead a Shipping and Compliance team across OE and MRO parts and engines. The role requires on-site presence four days a week with one day remote, and involves travel to logistics providers.

You will drive regulatory compliance, optimize logistics performance, manage third‑party providers, and partner with stakeholders to deliver cost efficiency and continuous improvement leveraging data analytics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics, shipping, or operations management.
• Experience leading teams and managing competing priorities.
• Strong knowledge of shipping processes and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma; Green Belt is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP, Power BI or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Shipping and Compliance Controllers to ensure on-time delivery of parts and engines.
• Oversee export controls, aviation security, regulatory obligations and audits.
• Manage third-party logistics providers and contracts to meet service levels.
• Oversee logistics budgets and support cost planning.
• Drive continuous improvement using digital tools and data analytics.
• Collaborate with site leadership and stakeholders to resolve challenges.
