Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager in Bristol to lead a Shipping and Compliance team across OE and Defence operations. You will ensure safe, compliant movement of parts and engines, oversee performance and budgets, and drive improvement with internal stakeholders and third-party providers.

The role requires four on-site days per week with one day working from home, and travel about 10–15% to logistics providers while delivering robust operation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics or supply-chain management with track record of improving performance.
• Experience leading and developing teams in demanding environments.
• Strong knowledge of shipping processes, export controls and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Shipping and Compliance Controllers to ensure timely delivery of parts and engines.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, export controls, aviation security, audits.
• Manage third-party logistics providers, contracts and performance.
• Oversee budgets with Finance and Programme teams; identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement through digital tools and data analytics.
• Collaborate with site leadership, Procurement, Quality to resolve challenges.
