Job summary

Right Now Group is recruiting an experienced Business Development Manager to lead new business development in the international logistics sector. The role focuses on generating revenue, expanding the customer base and promoting a range of logistics solutions across markets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in business development or a commercial role in logistics/shipping.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline is required.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and revenue growth.
• Experience developing and executing strategic BD plans.
• Strong knowledge of logistics industry and market trends.

Responsibilities

• Identify, generate and develop new business opportunities through targeted sales and marketing activities.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and work with marketing and commercial teams to hit targets.
• Manage and expand existing customer relationships and revenues.
• Develop strategic relationships with senior decision-makers across organisations.
• Understand customer needs and deliver tailored logistics solutions.
• Lead customer meetings and present proposals, communicating value propositions.
