Job summary

CTOT, the in-house Council transport team, is recruiting two Logistics and Area Supervisors to line-manage drivers and passenger assistants delivering Home to School, College and Adult Social Care transport. The posts cover the Workington area with a base at a Cumberland Council office, with occasional home working discussed at interview.

Candidates should have proven people-management experience, be self-motivated and decisive, and willing to work flexibly around an operational day.

Qualifications

• Experience of supervising staff and coordinating logistics.
• Willingness to undergo minibus driving assessment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of drivers and passenger assistants.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures across routes and services.
• Provide support across Workington/Carlisle areas as needed.
