Job summary

Metropolitan Thames Valley (MTVH) is seeking a Local Housing Manager to deliver housing and estate services for shared ownership/leasehold properties across Beeston, with coverage for Derby and Nottingham.

The role is predominantly office hours (37.5 hours per week), two days on-site, three days in a local office or from home, with some flexibility and occasional weekend work. A full driving license and social housing experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of housing practice and service charge management preferred

Responsibilities

• Be the front-facing representative and coordinate internal and external services
• Provide housing and estate services to shared ownership/leasehold properties
• Manage on-site presence 2 days per week and work from home/office 3 days
• Liaise with Local Authority, External Managing Agents and partners
• Respond to customer enquiries in person, by phone and in writing
• Support local initiatives and occasionally contribute to weekend work
