Job summary

Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing in the Midlands is seeking an enthusiastic Housing with Support Manager to oversee Spa Court Derby and surrounding schemes. This full-time fixed-term role offers 37.5 hours over Monday to Friday, with an on-call rota and remuneration.

A full driving licence and a car for work purposes are required. As the Housing with Support Manager your main responsibilities include the safe and effective running of your housing scheme; you will be the single point of access

Qualifications

Experience and awareness of wellbeing and housing needs of vulnerable older persons.
Ability to take a positive approach to problem solving and be decisive.
Good understanding of Housing Management responsibilities and tenancy rights and obligations.
Knowledge of legislation relevant to this customer group.
Good customer service awareness.
Awareness of adult safeguarding procedures and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

As on-site manager, run the housing scheme safely and effectively.
Act as single point of access for customers regarding housing and support queries.
Represent the organisation professionally to customers, visitors, contractors and stakeholders.
Coordinate with third-party care providers as needed while residents may live independently.
