Instem is seeking a Sales Executive (LIMS) in Stone, Staffordshire, offering hybrid work. You will drive growth for Matrix Gemini, selling software and services to pharmaceutical, biotech, and research labs worldwide, while building strategic accounts and expanding within existing ones.

You’ll manage the full sales cycle, demonstrate the product, respond to RFPs, and collaborate with marketing and technical teams to achieve targets and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Experience selling software and services into scientific laboratories.
• Strong understanding of laboratory workflows.
• Ability to sell complex software systems into the above industries.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in responding to RFPs.
• Proven track record of over $2.0M in annual sales.
• Energetic, professional self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of Windows-based computing.
• Experience with Matrix Gemini LIMS is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Allocate key accounts and develop existing accounts.
• Follow up on opportunities and new leads.
• Prospect known and new accounts by cold calling.
• Demonstrate Matrix Gemini and create configured demos.
• Close the business with management support.
• Maintain the CRM for the territory.
• Attend exhibitions and conferences.
• Contribute ideas for marketing campaigns and new products.
• Meet agreed order targets.
• Report monthly to manager.
• Create annual business plan for each financial year.
• Use LinkedIn to expand the contact base.
• Understand customer business and competition.
• Manage the sales process from inquiry to PO.
• Adhere to Quality Management System and security.
