Tend Training, part of Impact Futures Group, is hiring a Health & Social Care Development Coach to mentor and teach adult care apprentices. The role is hybrid, combining remote work with occasional learner visits across the West Midlands to review progress and deliver tutoring.

The successful candidate will lead learners, assess work, support SEND needs via Cognassist, and help students achieving Functional Skills where needed, while upholding safeguarding and inclusion standards.

Formación

• Must hold or be willing to complete Assessor Award CAVA or TAQA Level 3, A1, D32/33 or equivalent.
• Must hold or be willing to complete Teaching Qualification, PTLLS or equivalent.
• Recognised Level 5 or above in Adult Health and Social Care.
• Maths and English GCSE graded C or above.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a caseload of learners and support them to achieve their apprenticeship or qualification, as well as any Diploma through Gateway and End Point Assessment.
• Regularly assess work and provide constructive feedback including SPAG and update Aptem E-Portfolio system.
• Identify and support learners with additional learning needs using Cognassist neurodiversity platform.
• Support learners requiring Functional Skills maths and/or English at Level 1 or 2.
• Ensure safeguarding, PREVENT, British Values, health, safety and wellbeing and equality, diversity and inclusion are promoted and monitored.

Educación

Assessor Award CAVA or TAQA Level 3

Teaching Qualification PTLLS or equivalent

Level 5+ in Adult Health & Social Care

Maths & English GCSE grade C+
