Job summary

The Opportunity Provider Ltd is seeking an Adult Care Trainer to inspire and coach care home apprentices across Bath and Bristol areas. The role offers regular Mon-Fri hours with the flexibility of remote work and learner visits to care homes.

You will support learners in care homes and online, adapting planning and resources to individual needs while covering maths and English in practical settings. Expect travel to local sites several days weekly.

Qualifications

• Experience as Deputy Manager, Team Leader or Senior Carer or similar role.
• Level 5 qualification in Adult Care or equivalent.
• Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE) or willingness to work towards it.

Responsibilities

• Support and guide apprentices in care homes and online to develop skills and confidence.
• Tailor learning plans to individual needs and provide tools for success.
• Explain how maths and English apply to daily care work.
• Build relationships with employers and update them on progress.
• Manage admin tasks efficiently using Google Suite and other platforms.
