Job summary

Achieving for Children is seeking a proactive Education Support role to assist the Head of Service in developing the education and social/emotional wellbeing of students. You will help plan, implement and evaluate group and individualised learning experiences for learners.

The role requires strong organisational skills, adaptability, and good IT capability to support timely, accurate work. Level 2 in Maths and English is essential; NVQ3 for Teaching Assistants is desirable.

Qualifications

• Educated to Level 2 in Maths and English (Essential)
• NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent (Desirable)

Responsibilities

• Monitoring attendance and liaising with schools and parents
• Supporting the organisation of trips and obtaining permission from parents
• Assisting in the daily delivery of education work programmes
• Updating CPOMs as appropriate
• Collating and setting up resources for student learning
• Updating wall displays and keeping rooms clean and tidy
• Contributing to data and impact reports
